First and foremost, the layout. I love the combination of purple, pink and white, so I decided to change my layout for good (unless I plan to switch again). Anyways, let's talk about this site and what's in here.

The navigation:
  • HOME - You will see here my recent posts and updates about myself, this blog, and the programs I joined. Basically it's the blog itself. I placed this link for readers like you to be able to navigate properly around my blog.
  • GET PAID TO (GPT) - When you click on this tab, you will notice several kinds of GPT sites. To narrow them down, here is a list of the types of GPT sites:
    • Get Paid to Read - Some people call them Paid To Read (PTR) sites. These sites focus mainly on paying the members to READ the ads that advertisers put up to gain either traffic or referrals.
    • Get Paid to Blog - I guess the name says it all. You get paid to post on your blog, of course subject to approval.
    • Get Paid to Socialize - OK. Ever heard of Friendster? Or even MySpace? Well, there are sites that pay you to do exactly what you are doing in the aforementioned sites, SOCIALIZE!
    • Get Paid to - No, it's not a typo. Get Paid To sites are sites that pay you to do more than just reading ads, or blogging, or socializing. They pay you to read ads and emails, take surveys, try offers, sign up for something, play games etc.
  • MLM & Networking - MLM stands for Multi-Level Marketing. These sites requires people to pay a certain amount of fee to join in exchange of products and services. People earn more with these programs through referring people to join under their referral link. Earnings in this kind of online business is potentially big but is risky due to frauds and scams, so beware.
  • Others - Anything that is not under the 3 categories are found here.

Before anything else, let's all take a quick "history" lesson on how e-gold started: From wikipedia:

e-gold was founded in 1996 by Dr. Douglas Jackson and Barry K. Downey. Transactions using e-gold have grown dramatically since 2005. The total amount of gold bars (over three tonnes) in the e-gold system is approaching the size of the national reserves of smaller countries. e-gold now generates a substantial income from spend and storage fees — there is a charge of a few cents to make each e-gold "spend" and e-gold itself now earns well over a million USD per year from fees.

So enough of history lesson, let's get to the real thing. So what is E-Gold? E-gold is an internet currency used by online marketers and online businessmen for their transactions. It is like having a bank book on the internet, and can be used worldwide. Most online marketers use this e-currency for faster and efficient way of selling their products throughout the globe.

Here are the most frequently asked questions about e-gold:

1. How do I open an account?

Ans. Just click the banner to open a new account.

2. Is it free?

Ans. Yes! It is definitely free of charge.

3. I already opened a new account now, so how do I fund it?

Ans. You can fund your e-gold account to an e-currency exchanger, or just type "egold exchanger" in google. If you live here in the Philippines, I can sell you some or you can buy them from a very legit and well-known e-gold exchanger:
http://www.PinoyGoldExchange.net - Premier e-gold exchanger for Pinoy netrepreneurs

4. How do I convert my e-gold to cash?

Ans. Just like buying e-gold, you can sell them to an e-currency exchanger, or sell them to other people who need to fund their own e-gold account.

5. How secure is e-gold?

Ans. To make sure that you're using your e-gold account in its highest security level, use their SRK Virtual Keyboardwhen accessing your account to avoid keyloggers and spyware, you'd never know when a PC is infected or not. Also, with their AccSent pin, you would surely know if other people aside from you are trying to log in to your account.
